Burj Al Arab

The chameleon Arabic Tower majesticly stands out opposite to Dubai

Well-known all over the world, I must admit that it fully deserves its fame. Built on a man-made island, it is connected to the mainland by means of a masonry bridge, where you have to stop and show the policemen your papers and reserveration as well.

A visit to Burj Al Arab can be booked upon several tour operators and/or tour companies offering you various kinds of visit:

– visit with Afternoon Tea at the Sahn Eddar, the panoramic Cafè & Restaurant where guests from abroad are usually welcomed

– visit with table reservation in one of the ten multi-awarded restaurants (among the best in the world)

– visit… during your stay at the Hotel inside the Burj!

Taking for granted that Burj Al Arab is definitely a global symbol of Dubai, the choice among the above mentioned kinds of visits exclusively depends on your wallet. Consider that the first, cheapest option starts from AED 325 (around € 69 or $ 88). As for me, I could opt for the first alternative (but am about to upgrade to the intermediate level next time…): it was simply an unforgettable day, where the surroundings, the atmosphere, and the views definitely impressed on my mind.

You’ll be able to go up to around 200 m of height (whereas the sail-like shape Tower itself is 321 m tall) and take absolutely epochal pictures and/or videos. Apart from the absolute refinement, exclusiveness and extraordinary beauty of this place you’ll perceive that Burj Al Arab is unique. Literally.

Moreover, don’t forget to admire the multicolour “dress changing” which completely changes its look every 10 minutes by means of a highly sophisticated light system. Naturally, the Light Show is far better to be watched after sunset!
