Visiting Dubai in Summer can be definitely a memorable experience
Despite the burning climate there are lots of pleasant activities to do indoor (where air conditioning makes you easily forget what’s going on outside!), whereas the must-see places in the open space can be approached by night, when temperatures decrease at more bearable levels.
Let’s make a virtual tour in Dubai by starting with a day at Ski Dubai, the marvellous facility beside the Mall of the Emirates, one of the largest and most famous shopping malls in the world, located in the heart of Dubai. Real slopes and snow, lots of entertainment and food & beverage outlets for a unique experience!
It will be totally different. Spend your time in the impressive desert around Dubai. Choose among the innumerable safaris, camel, dune buggy, dune tours with barbeque dinner under the moonlight and overnight, or visit a mysterious Bedouin Oasis where you can discover all of the traditions of that ancient nomad population.
Another intriguing aspect of Dubai are its exclusive Palms: three archipelagoes of man-made islands which form as a whole three huge palms lying in the sea: Palm Deira, Palm Jumeirah and Palm Jebel Ali! On their surface every kind of facility is available: alongside luxury hotels and hotel apartments, stunning villas, restaurants, cinemas, shopping malls, mooring stations, themed parks and white beaches. A special mention for Atlantis, the Palm, the unique resort on Palm Jumeirah: inspired to the ancient myth of the underwater continent, it is well worth visiting.
Missing some sports after your start at Ski Dubai? Some of the most sought-after golf greens in the world are just waiting for you! Being inclined to water sports? It’ll be really difficult to choose among the breathtaking beaches and waterfronts where numberless water & beach sports can be practiced!
The day of culture has finally come: stroll up and down the ancient quarters of Deira with its Gold Souk or Bastakiya where the Dubai Museum cannot be missed along with the imposing Mosque opposite it. This is also the right location to enjoy a refreshing walk through Dubai Creek, its never ending promenade where attracting bars, restaurants and cafes are spread along the sea.
Not to be missed is also a day at Dubai Marina, the tourist port with a large pedestrian area along the docks with a great number of restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels for atmospheric moments. Also by night.
Feeling like spending a day in a themed park? Well, then it’s time to discover Wild Wadi, the gorgeous water park close to Jumeirah Beach, Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach Resort, real icons of Dubai! Thrilling fun, entertainment, adventure and high-class dining are definitely ensured!
